Introduction

316L stainless steel Sheet plate is an alloy metal steel. According to the test, 316L stainless steel plate has excellent corrosion resistance, especially pitting corrosion resistance due to the addition of Mo; high temperature strength is also very good; excellent work hardening (weak magnetism after processing); solid solution state is non-magnetic.

Difference between 316 stainless steel and 316L stainless steel :

1. different molybdenum content: the molybdenum content of 316L stainless steel is slightly higher than that of 316 stainless steel.

2. The upper limit of C content is different: the upper limit of C content of 316 is 0.08%, while that of 316L is 0.03%. The higher the C content, the easier it is to cause

    intergranular corrosion.

3. Different uses: 316L is widely used in chemical industry because of its excellent corrosion resistance.
