INTRODUCTION

Stainless Steel 303 Coil  has high strength after cold working, but the elongation is slightly worse than 1Cr17Ni7. It's use for Decorative parts for construction.

Type 303 stainless steel Coil  is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel that can be used in both annealed and cold-worked conditions.

Type 303 stainless steel Coil   is an early version of Type 304 stainless steel with a higher carbon content, and as melting technology has improved, 

many 303 stainless steel Coil applications have moved to Type 304 stainless steel . 

Type 303 stainless steel  is non-magnetic in the annealed condition, but becomes magnetic after cold working.


Type 303 stainless steel Coil is corrosion resistant in many environments and has corrosion properties similar to 304/304L stainless steel. 

Sensitivity to carbide precipitation during welding limits the use of Type 302 stainless steel Coil in certain applications, 

whereas 303 is used because of its lower carbon content in welding applications.
